We teach. Here's to better art, better media and a better life through education.

At the most egalitarian level, we teach because we want to share our expertise with the world. We want smarter audiences, more skillful colleagues and sharper competitors. At the most selfish, we teach because we love doing it. There are few things more satisfying than watching a student have an "Aha!" moment.

We've been teaching video and post-production technology since 2004. We teach Apple Certified classes in Final Cut Pro and have lectured on topics as varied as DVD authoring, title sequences, internet encoding and transitioning to HD. We've held over 60 seminars and classes in both the Seattle and Portland areas teaching for Mac University, The Seattle International Film Festival, 911 Media Arts, The Hazelwolf Film Festival and The Northwest Documentary Association (in one of our prouder moments, Oscar-nominated producer John Sinno invited us to be among the 10 presenters of DocFarm 2007).

As First Sight Production's Creative Director, I have been experimenting and working with digital video and related medias since 1998. Recipient of the prestigious Edmund J. Yarwood Dean's Honor Student Award, I formally studied the filmic and video arts under the tutelage of award-winning filmmaker Tom Mullin at Eastern Washington University, graduating both magna cum laude and with University Honors distinction.

Recognition for my achievements in media extends beyond the academic, however. In 2004 alone I was awarded both Special Honors in the American Short Gem Screenplay Contest and a Bronze Telly Award for a mini-series I co-produced, co-directed and co-edited.
