  • Bob & Howard - Just did a search w/ Renton as my key word (where I live). There are dozens of members listed between Issaquah and Tukwila.

? Is there a tool within Biznik that will allow a direct invitation to an event? If we must, we can send a note each one via Biznik, but time that requires is a significant which most of us don't want or have to give.

Seattle locations are not a pragmatic options for busy end of day events when you live 30 to 50 minutes away. Bellevue is, well Bellevue and meeting at the Rings in the Embassy Suites or at Billy McHales in Renton seems more achievable.

Thursday night events are best for me. So, What do you suggest? Lets do something fun - that's my moto _ it's all about fun.

  • "'To reveal or not to reveal' that is the question....the answers have been terrific . I too am an alt lifestyle proprietor, as well as a vanilla coordinator. We try to keep our focus on those things that make business sense, even though we are personally connected in ways that are not typical in many business models. Yes, it can be hard to keep focus and be genuine without revealing too much, as a business owner and service provider. There are pitfalls enough in this climate of business. Simple is best, but for me (an event coordinator) that's easier said than done. Hard these days Not to get distracted, blindsided, or mislead. I think using your head is necessary; better to have too much thought than not enough. Having and gaining perspective is imperative, and an important step is asking for it. Streatching, pushing the envelope, stepping outside the box - all ok. And it is ok to use your 'senses' to guide you. If you gut says don't go there...then don't, until things change or you move on.

  • What perfect timing! I’ve just had a gig come up! I'm late to join in on this. Looking forward to an August eve visiting this extraordinary home.
I'm hoping to use this Indie Biz Nite constructively networking. This will be a perfect time for me to meet and establish stategic partnerships with biz-providers. Post for strategic partners… What & When: 'large neighborhood party' at the end of August. Need: Stategic Partners, performance artists, i.e. strolling magician; balloon artist; mobile DJ it would be great to say hi at this event. I also am looking to find props, decor, and staging rental equip suitable for this event. A gifts and awards provider is also needed.
I am proposing large inflatables and possibly a child go-fish attraction. A graphic arts person to draw up some logo/signage would be helpful too. Love this part of the job - like it best when it's organized :~) and then the magic moments can begin to happen! If you would like to talk today give me a call the phone # is at the PartyPeople Co. website ~ kristeen b ~ www.partypeopleco.com

  • Hi, great idea to post here. I'm an experienced event coordinator with terrific strategic partners who can support and supply wonderful options - be it theme and mood decor; cratered foods; florist arrangements; balloon art; or entertainment.

Small to medium businesses are my typically target group. For the past four years been putting on events (nearly weekly) for groups of 40 to 200 though my own company PartyPeople Company. In the corporate world I was a marketing and business development specialist. I know what it takes to detail out, organize, and facilitate the fun of it all. Think of us me as your "general contractor of fun."

We should do this again…soon” These are probably the most commonly said words people say following any successful get together. I'm here to help that happen! Acting on it is not as easy as one would think….that's where Party People Co. comes in.

The stress of every day life can be a rush...especially if you are trying to impress VIP's. To counter this, people are always searching for pleasant and meaningful functions and activities that create bonds and memories - - resulting in long lasting affiliations and loyalties. Whether to you do this to say "thank you" or as an incentive to encourage patronage...I know EVENTS are beneficial to the overall all health and performance of any group or team.

Within the Biznik program there are many talented performers, specialists, service providers and talented agents. I'm glad to be among them :~) Best regards, Kristeen B. - PartyPeople Co. and .... 'remember it's all about fun! (and function)
