Hi Zeke, Thanks for your article. Interesting switch from the title of 5 mistakes, then to "a list of seven" and then only posting 4? At the end, you invite us to guess at what some other mistakes are. I found your article to be a bit on the negative side with an overuse of the word "not" pointing out what not to do is helpful, but mostly if it is balanced with hints on what to do instead. "Not" posting enough positives... I would love to see some examples of great, good and not so good websites to understand better. I would love to hear what you have to say about my website too. Thanks for writing your thoughts and experiences.

I agree with you although I have not been practicing enough before a speech, I can say that not practicing hasn't been working too well! I joined a Toastmasters group last year and it really helps to have a safe environment in which to grow your skills with others who will give you honest feedback and are there to learn as well. Thanks so much for your great tips Jezra! I am newly inspired to book another presentation.

Thanks for the article Richard. I have gotten a few customers to volunteer their beneficial experience for use on my website. Some are a little hesitant though, because what I do can get very personal. Do you have any suggestions on how best to approach my customers to share more of thier experience with the world. A photo may not be appropriate in my line of work as they don't want thier families to know the details of thier mind, etc. Thanks for any tips you may have.

I'm considering coming up from Portland. I can only attend Thursday and would need to drive back that evening. It sure looks like a great deal to pay for the 2-day discount even though I'm only there for Thursday.
I don't see a specific schedule for Thursday on what is offered exactly. Can anyone help me make the decision on the worthiness of a Portlanders trip up? Thanks!
