About Laurel

I practice Relational Therapy, a type of relational counseling my partner and I have just written a book about (In a Cradle of Words: Intimate Encounters in Relational Psychology, available at Amazon)--an extraordinarily powerful method of using intimacy and relatedness to create new healing pathways in the brain (limbic resonance). This emotion-focused listening and attending alleviates loneliness and facilitates an ability in clients to connect more deeply in their relationships and in relationship to themselves and the natural world (through Ecopsychology).
