Well, that's me.

Not only do I love to think and talk about writing, reading, science and the act of studying, but I also love the challenge of education. As such, after completing my MFA in Fiction Writing I founded Northwest Tutors with my friend and fellow tutor, Arthur Emery. While Arthur specializes in math and science, I work with students on basic reading and study skills, composition, paper, and college application essay writing, and the verbal portion of the SAT and ACT. I work with students of all ages (children through adults) and from the beginning of the writing process to the very end.

I believe that each student already has the ability succeed and that my primary job is to help him or her tap into those strengths. Creativity marks all aspects of my life, and I thrill to adapt my methods to the individual student's unique needs.
