What Lee does
I provide nutritional and culinary services, including dietary guidance, nutritional assessments, on-going coaching and support, menu planning, private cooking lessons and much more. I use a holistic approach to identify my client's health imbalances and dysfunctions, then restore balance and overall health using whole food concepts, and supplements if necessary, while providing guidance and support along the way. My clients are empowered by the process, gain an awareness of the holistic options, as well as improved bodily functions and the motivation to continue the process, knowing they are supported throughout their road of discovery.
What Lee does best
I understand the bio-individuality of each of my clients and thus am able to create a process that will work best for them while still being able to move them towards optimal health! My life-long love for healthy and delicious foods, a deep desire to help people, and 20+ years of research and writing skills, blend together to create a unique service providing each client with wisdom, support and growth towards optimal health.
What does Lee need?
I am looking for clients who are ready to take charge of their lives and excited to do the work that will lead them to optimal health. I am looking to work with health practitioners who understand the value and need for whole food nutrition if one is to regain and maintain optimal health, and need this valued service to further support their patient base. I am there to support and guide them throughout the process!
Education
I received my bachelor's degree at Marylhurst University in 1995 and became a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner in 2006. I have taken many hours of cooking classes and several nutritional seminars to maintain my continuing education requirements and keep up to date on the latest discoveries of food preparation and nutritional values. I truly love to learn and am always looking for new ways to increase my knowledge base.
Experience
I am a self taught chef based on life long cooking experiences and a deep love for good food, and have been a personal chef since 2003. I have over 15 years of paralegal experience which has been invaluable in providing me with the base to handle my nutritional clientele on a case by case basis. I am a deeply compassionate and nuturing person and view each person I meet as unique human beings. All of this comes into play when meeting and working with my clients. I was also the assistant to the current instructor of the Nutrition program at Olympia's NTA location for the last two years.
