What Lei Ann does
I Shop. Yes, can you believe it? I shop for a living ... some call it a dream come true. I shop for my shop, Momo, in Seattle's emerging Japantown and I shop new shops and write about them for Seattle's best magazine, Seattle Magazine. I'm a Little Shop Girl and a freelance writer (Copy Queen -- maybe I should change that to Shoppy Queen?) too.
What Lei Ann does best
I'm a connector. As a Momo Shop Girl, I connect people with products, and people with people. As Copy Queen, I connect people to information about new stores and trends, whether it be style or culture. Through both of my passions, I open up new doors between previously unrelated worlds.
What does Lei Ann need?
With both Momo and Queenie, I need information about upcoming trends. Momo needs input about products, consumer habits, retail directions and of course, lots of lovely customers interested in a brave new venture. Copy Queen also needs to know about exciting new places and fascinating people in Seattle.
Education
Too many schools, too little time. Whitman College, University of Hawaii and ultimately, the University of Washington with a degree in Communications.
Experience
I've wanted to be four things in my life: 1. Flight Attendant. 2. Freelance writer. 3. Owner of a unique boutique. 4. Sex symbol in a Rock-n-Roll band. I'm still working on number 4.
