Have you ever dreamed, for business or hobby, of having your own radio show? Did you know that within a few hours you could have your very own podcast or call-in radio show? In fact, one internet radio site/service will pay you for the number of live listeners and downloads your show generates. Cool huh? (Of course the quality and listenership of your show will increase in proportion to the amount of time you put into it, but you can get a basic show up and going in relatively little time using free software. There's even a free 'phone-to-podcast' service that automates everything for you, no computer needed!)
Podcasting is one of the most hot topics on the internet right now. The power of sharing your voice, your ideas, your passion, your business is no longer only within the hands of the media conglomerates. As Time magazine said last year (primarily because of the new media blitz) "You" win the 'person of the year' award.
Depending on your current technological experience, after our six hours of hands-on time with me you will have either:
- Your own call-in radio show that pays you for each listener.
- The basic knowledge, free software and know-how to launching your own podcast with potential to reach millions of listeners (must have some basic tech proficiency already)
- Your own 'instant' podcast updated simply by a telephone call and syndicated into the iTunes audio universe.
