Excellent, energizing, discussion. Thanks for launching this Carrie & Dan. And it has led (thanks to the group sharing their thoughts on a video) to an upcoming interview with Seth himself.

Great overview of the Enneagram system Rachel, thanks. I appreciate the way you facilitate: pointing out the possibility of styles at play in the way we communicate, throwing back questions with questions, etc. Give me a call thur or fri if you want and I'd be happy to share some more detailed feedback. Thanks! -Leif
Thanks for the Q Louis, unfortunately the show has already taken place.
After covering the weekly question about growing your biz in these troubled times (basically: -don't give up on marketing, rather get creative X10 effort), we jump into talking about spirituality, money, war and some pretty challenging ideas.
You can listen to it here (personally, I'd go ahead and skip/skim the first 5-10 minutes or so).
Thanks Mindy, good question. I'll ask him that!
Those interested in this topic will want to catch tomorrow's at 10a PST (or listen to the archive later) with Robert Kiyosaki. We'll get to hear him share about his new book "Rich Brother, Rich Sister" in which he and his sister sahre how they took different paths (she became a Buddhist Nun) and then later reconciled and share their similarities and differences.
Feel free to email me with an advanced Q if you wish. -Leif
Hey Barry, Would love to hear your BTR show --what is it? -Leif
Hi Kaya, I hope you know that Biznik Live uses Blog Talk Radio as their platform (if not, I'm really not doing something right).
Main challenges:
Audio quality --don't use, or have your guest use, a cell phone or skype. Try to stick to landlines.
People call in to listen sometimes, but not to ask questions. Both show up in your queue, but no way to distinguish them (they tell me that sometimes you'll get a version of their software which can ask the caller to press a button if they have a Q -which then notifies you -but this has not been implemented across the board yet).
Endings are awkward because you have to choose a 15-minute interval. If you go over --the live stream dies, but the recording continues (this was really embarrassing on the Timothy Ferris interview as we thought we weren't being recorded and I told him a login name and password!). Sometimes the lady's voice announcing time-remaining is also not accurate, so try to end your show a bit early. Either that or choose 15 minutes extra, stop early, download the file, edit out the blank space (it keeps recording for a while after you hang up) -kind of annoying.
Feel free to give me a call if you have any other Qs Kaya. -Leif
Excited to get the book and discuss with you guys, but sad I couldn't get him for Biznik Live.
Books groups like this (esp if regular) will be great for Biznik Groups.
Good point Banu, I needed to remember the positive/exciting aspect of searching right now.
And Carrie, I do like the changes you've made on your profile as well. Much more honest and wise IMHO to say "I'm in transition" than to pretend to have one's 'act' together ;)
I'm in the same boat, as I'm working and loving Biznik, but also developing my own business(es!) as well ;)
Cheers, Leif
Yes we are Giannina, thanks for your message.
I hope some Bizniks do take the time to send a personal welcome as well, via these members' profile pages.
HI Zeke, Excellent thoughts, reminds me of the Biznik Live interview I did with Tim Ferriss and how much he emphasized testing as well.
I'm curious why you submitted this as a discussion thread and not as an article, as it seems much more so the latter?
I know its not near as powerful as a real-time vision board, but just saw this facebook vision board app, and thought I'd pass it on to you folks: http://tinyurl.com/592ky6

Rachel, I'm about 75% I can make it to this. But since its for pay, I want to wait a bit and get clearer on my schedule. (Overall, its a good time for me). Please ping me by the end of next week if a)I haven't signed up or b)it gets down to 1-2 spaces. Thanks! -Leif PS I've just tweeted about it.
(just sent this to all attendees, but in case anyone joins later today...)
Hello folks,
If you could please come prepared today with one specific business block or challenge in mind that you'd like to work on, it would help make your time most productive.
Though we'll be doing a number of things today, imagine an issue that you'd be comfortable sharing in a small group and enjoying getting suggestions about from others.
Also, bring an open mind, a sense of trust, and a desire to get real. Feel free to leave all fears, ego and cool self-made images behind.
Thanks, and I look forward to working and playing with you today!

Good to hear Katie & Gretchen. Because of thanksgiving week, its looking hard to find a place for the 25th (Mosaic is closed all week) --I may still find one, otherwise look for the week after. -Leif
Okay, whats the best time and place for folks and try and get something up in the next 1-2 weeks. -Leif
I cannot recommend highly enough the workshops, writings and other resources of Mark Silver from The Heart of Business. Many Bizniks like myself have benefited form him.
Thanks Heather and Nina. Sorry we'll miss you. I'ved been encouraged to go ahead and put the next one in the calendar, so that'll be on for the 25th. Hopefully that will be more warning for you. Nina -Hmmm, eastside is a lot of extra commute time for me to do a free event, but I will think about it. I can also consider changing the time. Whats better for you?
Way to go Rick, I hope your event went well!
Well done Rebecca & Jonathan!
We miss you up here Rebecca. Hands are a little chilly right now, but they're warm on the inside ;)
Hi Bizniks, I highly recommend taking the 30 minutes to listen to today's show --it was full of excellent networking tips on how how to maximize your networking time. You can listen to it now, or subscribe to the podcast and get it and other shows automatically downloaded through iTunes.
Continuing an unresolved question in the show --what CRM (contact relations management) software do you use and why do you think its the best? I'm personally looking for simplicity, portability and (best) I can sync it with my mac address book and thus iphone ;)
Great article Michelle, helped me to take a more sober perspective on the issue. I didn't have time to read the follow-up discussion, but it looks lively --which means you engaged people's heads and hearts.
And thanks for the Biznik link, I like how it was the words "getting to know" <other> that you used to link -a big part of what we do here!
Feel free to re-submit the article in Biznik articles if you haven't already.
Cheers, Leif
Sorry about that Amy --should work now. ;) (The actual site is Noomii.com, the above link is to my discussion about it).
Cheers, Leif
