Looking forward to it. Dibspace is a model for what's possible. I hope other cities pick up this platform and run with it. It makes trading much more accessible for people who are open to the idea but scared about actually participating. Nice work Dibspace.
Excellent article Goldie from a colleague in video production with a shared interest in helping people to speak authentically, and similar experiences with the results in how customers identify with a business when they see the faces and hear the voices of the people involved. Video is where it's at. Restaurants are a perfect business model for using video to market themselves because of the reliance on search engines to direct potential customers to them. Search engines prioritize video. I am producing a host of videos for each restaurant, raising their profile both in search as well as enabling customers to learn more about them once on their site. I create youtube channels for them that direct viewers to their website with hyperlinks, and they post the same original files on their own site. Here is an example of this that I've done for the excellent restaurant La Medusa in Columbia City in Seattle. The videos include the owner talking about the history, the chef talking about the cuisine, the somalier talking about the wine list, one short video about the neighborhood farmer's market and how they are using local organic produce, etc. Have a look and contact me if you are interested to learn more. I really enjoyed this article.
