  • Let's Meet!

I've been trying to figure out a place where we can all meet and chat...anybody got any ideas? The place we've met in the past is Victor's Coffee in Redmond...it's handy but not conducive to a BIG meeting. I'll keep it in mind as our fallback.

Meanwhile...anybody know of great free (or really cheap) meeting places on the Eastside?

    Thanks Leslie

  • Intro to Aromatherapy Webinar this Tue, March 24th

Hi, everyone. Just wanted to let you know about a free webinar I'm doing this Tuesday night at 7pm Pacific time. It's an "Intro to Aromatherapy", and it will give you a good introduction into what essential oils are all about. It will last about 90 minutes (or slightly less). I'd love to have you there, and would be delighted if you could help me spread the word!

You can come for the info or just come to see what it's like to do a webinar in case you were thinking of trying them yourself. This is the last time I will be doing this webinar for free. Please tell your friends!

Here's the link to register for the event: http://calmbyleslie032409.eventbrite.com/

    Thanks so much!

    Leslie

  • Welcome and Introductions

Welcome, everyone! I'm very excited to see this new feature on Biznik. Please introduce yourself.

I'm Leslie. I practice massage, reflexology, and aromatherapy at my business "calm by leslie" in Redmond. I'm about to move my office to Bellevue. My target clientele are harried, overworked moms who have burnt themselves out taking care of everyone else and are ready to take ownership/responsibility for their own well-being.

    You?

  • Hiya, Bizik Buds!

I'm Leslie Irish Evans, owner of calm by leslie. It's a relaxation and wellness practice located in Sammamish. I'm a certified reflexologist, certified aromatherapist, and a licensed massage practitioner. I combine all three of those skills to "peel mom off the ceiling".

After initially being intimidated by the idea of running my own business, I'm learning that I love the business part as much as I love the practice part! I'm a member of eWomen Network, which is another business network that doesn't suck. Biznik is an awesome resource and I'm really glad to be here!
