I made Graphic Design a career choice (change) because I already had a passion for photography, and felt this field would make the best use of that skill. I enjoy using my design and photography skills to bring the clients vision to the printed piece.

My strength is in print production and troubleshooting files, the result of 3 years working prepress with a large print company. My time with this company also provided me the opportunity to develop system support skills on the MAC.

I went from this company to setting up my own business (Sierra PhotoGraphic, now Sierra Design Solutions to separate Photography from Graphic Design). I also taught design and production classes at Highline Community College, and continue to provide support to students and clients.

Photography remains my passion. I also enjoy gardening and bird watching. I am currently striving to turn my yard into an urban habitat.

I'm looking for a space to hold weekly HANDS-ON workshops to get people moving forward with email campaigns (Constant Contact).

These will be actually setting up the newsletter or announcement for you to send, and other areas people get stuck. So a place with room for 5 to 10 (max) and free WiFi. I may have a spot at a local coffee house in West Seattle, but it has no "private" area, so I'm looking to see what else is available.

These may also turn into workshops for using the iLife suite available on the MAC to help you get a website, video, and podcast set up. One-on-one help is always available if you can't wait. :-)
