My free agent life started in 2000 when I launched ReachWomen with a friend. ReachWomen is a consulting company focused on helping brands market in a more compelling way to women. Four year later we co-authored Don't Think Pink and I started speaking all over the world on marketing to women. I loved being a part of pioneering this exciting industry. In 2005 I went on a professional adventure by partnering with Cheri Hanson, a journalist in Vancouver, BC and we set out to discover what the connected generation craves and understand how technology is changing people and the marketplace from a molecular level. What a bonanza of learning and fun. We put most of our findings in the book Mind Your X's and Y's which Simon & Schuster (Free Press) published in 2005. During our research we learned the insider secrets from fast growing free agents and thriving new businesses. We tested these strategies on our own company with dramatic results. Cheri and I with our new partner Cassie Pruett turned these modern strategies for entrepreneurs into a business building multi-media course.
