  • Am responding very late to you all, but I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all of your comments!

Kirk: I'm glad I could give a you a few ideas! My approach to covering online networking in my book was from the standpoint of how you can actually incorporate them into your networking, rather than just being fascinated by the cool features. Next up for me is a lot of speaking (I'll be out in Seattle in late Feb) and also developing some follow on programs for Smart Networking readers. Stay tuned!

Dan: We're definitely on the same wavelength with Chris Anderson's book! Online networking really does enable "The Long Tail" allowing each of us to keep tied to weak connections that would have been impossible to do in person.

Paul: Yes! Whenever I think nothing will materialize by going to that event, or meeting that next person, something usually does!

Barbara: Thanks! I'm so glad you liked the article!

Kare: Wow, what a great reading list! I can't wait to dive in.

Rickey: I agree, things are definitely moving fast on the social networking front, and people like you who know how to build relationships online and off will do very very well.

Brent: My new best friend! LOL. Thanks so much for posting the Amazon review and recommending my book so wholeheartedly to your colleagues!

Jan: I really like how you put that: "10 hours of intelligent, selective networking..." People often confuse activity with progress so the message I really wanted to convey in the book is that you don't need to network hard if you know how to network smart.

Looking forward to getting to know you all better and becoming more proficient on Biznik! :-)
