What Margaret does
I do a simmering mix of writing, editing, research, ghostwriting, screenwriting, and producing. Recently I founded Interesting 101, a go-to consultancy devoted to helping individuals, organizations, and corporations define, mine, and refine their own "Interesting." Every story has a hero, right? And the word for hero in drama is "protagonist." My background in dramatic structure uniquely equips me to "protagonize" your business in ways that will have your audience (customers, clients, the public) cheering for it to succeed!
What Margaret does best
Find the story. Sculpt the story. Deliver the story. Make people think and feel. Have a lasting impact.
What does Margaret need?
Businesses, individuals, projects, corporations who are seeking an "Interesting" makeover. Clients who know there's more beneath their own exterior than anyone would ever guess. Opportunities to help you or someone you know find and demonstrate "Interesting." Also, for a book I'm working on, I need nominations for "The World's Most Beautiful Bathrooms."
Education
M.A. Georgetown, Latin American Regional Studies
B.A. Swarthmore College, English & Italian Literature
Also studied at the University of Bologna, Italy (Psychology and Art History)
Experience
Extremely eclectic, from fomenting business partnerships between the U.S. and Mexico to on-the-ground research in Korea's Demilitarized Zone to translating for a tango tour in Buenos Aires. You name it, I've done something like it.
