I launched MLBdesigngroup, a full-service interior design firm, to create thoughtfully designed and very personalized living spaces that embrace the unique lifestyles of my clients.

As one of a select few certified MASTER kitchen and bath designers in the US - a credential earned through experience and examination - my work focuses on designing beautiful and functional kitchens, bathrooms, and interiors that add value to the home and years of enjoyment for the homeowners.

My process is simple:

The result? Personalized rooms that function well, look fabulous, and add a feeling of comfort, grace and style for the people who live in them.

I listen carefully to my clients to hear their unspoken dreams of what "home" means - and feels like - to them. Then I combine their thoughts and wishes with my expertise in space planning, specification development, resource and project management, to create beautiful, comfortable, livable and functional interior spaces that "feel right" for them.

I'm always on the lookout for great clients who wish for a personalized, consultative and collaborative approach to design planning their space - and who value excellence in process, technique and results.

I especially enjoy designing kitchens for people who love to cook, eat, and entertain, because each kitchen becomes a reflection of that homeowner's unique interpretation of function and beauty.

We all need time for ourselves and often the most "guilt free" way to enjoy this time is simply by taking a bath. (Inside scoop: even big strong men enjoy this "guilty pleasure.") I create functional and practical bathroom spaces that are relaxing, soothing and carefully planned. I love working with homeowners who envision themselves floating in a warm pool of water as they gaze out a window at the beautiful rainy grey of the Seattle sky.

I'm always on the lookout to build new relationships with industry partners and professionals who work to a high standard and have passion for our work of creating exceptional living spaces.

BBA, Marketing, University of Hawaii; continuing education and ongoing professional development in interior, kitchen, and bath design through professional organizations, industry workshops, and trade resources.

I have twenty years direct industry design experience including many years in a design/build capacity with responsibilities for project management. I bring a unique combination of business background, award-winning design capability, and extensive construction knowledge to the discussion and process.

I'm past president of the local NKBA (National Kitchen + Bath Association) Puget Sound Chapter, and currently sit on the National Advisory Council for Designers.
