I am a Pittsburgh based professional location photographer who photographs internationally and in your own backyard. My photographic specialties include corporate, advertising, editorial, and fashion/lifestyle photography. I am best at working with clients who need visual problems solved. I am a straight shooter, respect clients time and budget, and unlike many photographers, approach my craft as a BUSINESS while producing a highly creative product. I am great working with senior management and executives and have a ton of experience working directly with FORTUNE 500 companies as well as working with young start-ups and small businesses. I excel at photographing people in their environments and making interesting photos from not always interesting surroundings!

Looking to develop long term, honest, no bull, clients who respect the creative process as I respect all aspects of commerce and growing a business. I am especially interested in how social media can grow my business and I am spending a fair amount of time on numerous social media sites as a form of promoting and driving traffic to my website. Because in the long run, it is the photos that I show and make that will get me the next client. The way I treat that client, will allow me to build a long term relationship.

Photographic assistant 1977-1985 who assisted over 80 photographers. 3 years in Pittsburgh and 5 years in New York City. I opened my Pittsburgh operation in 1985 and have been working in the business since then. Affiliations include or have included: Past President of the Pittsburgh Chapter American Society of Media Photographers, Editorial Photographers, Stock Artists Alliance, American Institute of Graphic Artists, and moderating numerous professional networking forums as well as lecturing and speaking to students and professional organizations.
