I chose to become a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) because its philosophies resonate with me. It is based on extremely simple concepts and theories; but very intricate and profound. One could spend a lifetime mastering them…which is my intention.

I bring this passion, empathy and humility into each session. I sit with you and we chat; discuss your concerns and goals in the healing process. I allow the time needed and offer a safe and grounded atmosphere, so I can fully understand the underlying cause of discomfort or "dis-ease".

My intention is to facilitate change at the root of the problem and seek your help in this cause. I feel there is a difference between "curing" (removing the symptoms of an ailment and restoring a client to health) and "healing" (attaining wholeness of body, mind, emotions, and spirit). My goal is for you to leave transformed.

I listen, observe and keep things simple. This is the foundation of my practice. "I don't know everything; tell me what it's like to be you". Chinese medicine can be very deep and abstract, so I converse in terms that you can relate to and understand.

I was a professional tour director for ten years after completing my undergraduate degree in Accounting.....ugh! I traveled extensively throughout China, Japan, Nepal, and S.E. Asia in the early eighties and during my many visits to the Orient and Asia, I observed master practitioners of acupuncture, tai Qi, qigong, and herbal medicine. It took many years for me to realize my calling and I attended the NW Institute of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NIAOM) in Seattle for my master's degree in Acupuncture. I am national board certified through NCCAOM and am licensed to practice in the state of Washington.
