It's Official! The First-Time Homebuyers Tax Credit of $8,000 has been extended until June 30, 2010. People who have NOT owned a home within the last three years are considered First-Time Buyers.
Current Homeowners who have occupied their home for 5 consecutive years during the last 8 years are eligible for a $6,500 Tax Credit.
There has been no greater time in history to buy a home than now.

The KBA (Kirkland Business Association) Bowl-a-Palooza!
What a great way to have tons of fun, networking and supporting the community all at once. The Boys and Girls Club is one of the benefactor's.
Join us Sunday, May 4th at Tech City Bowl in Kirkland. We have the entire bowling alley from 1PM - 4PM.
Tickets are $30 which averages out to be $10 an hour. There is nowhere else you can bowl for $10 an hour!
We are looking for teams of 4 people per team but individuals are welcome. There will be prizes to include "Team Theme", best score, worst score, most gutter balls and more.

My John L. Scott office in Bellevue (South) is having a dinner/auction to raise money for the Forgotten Children's Fund on December 8th at the Sahalee Country Club. There will be up to 80 real estate agents and their spouses in attendance.

Tonight, Oct 9th at 7:30PM on PBS (KCTS) chanel 9 I will be featured in an interview about the Seattle real estate market. The interview was conducted about two weeks ago and of course the recent news about our real estate market has changed since.
Although my appearance will be brief, it will be nonetheless interesting.
