My work is about balance and exploration. I enjoy the subtle changes that occur when colors overlap, react, and create something new. I also love textures and how layers of color and texture come together. I enjoy exploring space and balance, creating a firm tension between control and chaos. Repeated themes include vague geometric forms, hard strokes against blended softness and bright color buried under layers of paint. I intuitively bring these elements together into a melody of form. The result is an expression of mood, creating an atmosphere to lose oneself in.
