I am a curriculum writer for a company that publishes science textbooks for middle and high school. I've worked on all of my company's titles and I've been lead author on two of these.

I love writing and making things in print nice-looking. I'm detailed-oriented but realistic and pragmatic in my approach too. I try to do what I do with a sense of humor.

I have a good grasp on all the sciences and love the arts (dancing and music mainly but not exclusively).

I can write, copyedit, and/or proofread quickly, thoroughly, and accurately.

I'm beginning to explore ways to supplement my income. It looks like (from my current reading) that I may be able to do that and not change too much about my current state of being by doing copyediting and proofreading gigs. So, that's what I'm looking for.
