Breakthrough Coaching

I offer two hour Breakthrough Coaching sessions for individuals, couples, and families. I also develop seminars and workshops for businesses.

Sessions have two components. Duing the first 30 minutes, clients explain what they want to change or identify areas where they feel stuck. We then engage in a conversation or inquiry that reveals the underlying and self imposed reasons for feeling stuck. A client might be stuck in negative thinking, a percieved need to always be right, a limiting self image, or a belief that other people or situations are the cause of their problems. In the process of the conversations, clients are also given practical tools that can be used to awaken to their own accountability and for managing their thoughts rather than being a victime to their thoughts. In short, I facilitate conversations that bring clients into a higher consciousness about themselves. People feel very safe, comfortable and willing to discuss the things that they really want to change in their lives when they meet me. I listen very carefully to what clients are saying, and can guide the conversation accurately from there to start the breakthrough process. My insights lead me to appropriate questions to ask, and the answers from the clients serve to empower them.

I love what I do and would like to work with more people who truly want to understand, and manage their own thinking. I also want to work with businesses that have the desire for their employees to have the ability to generate extreme creativity, and to resolve office conflicts and differences in creative and win/win ways.

I have an M.A. in Medical Anthropology and am trained in Critical Thinking. My continuing education includes many workshops and life experiences. Of course, much of my education also comes from my clients. Their willingness to express themselves and explore how life can actually work for them is always educational and inspiring.

I have been coaching for over 20 years. My experiences beyond coaching include; publishing a book and several articles, raising two amazing children as a single parent, traveling and volunteering with indigenous people, organizing support groups throughout the state for low income parents, and a wide variety of other challenging and creative endeavors.
