Hi there all you Bizniks - from Vajra Acupuncture in Eastlake

Hi Everyone :)

I just signed on to Biznik and am still learning how it all works. I look forward to getting to know you and to meeting you, bit by bit. Any tips you may wish to share about how to best utilize this site would be most welcomed.

I am Maya ... an acupuncturist in Eastlake entering my 7th year in practice. I am a very gentle acupuncturist and find that I work very well with sensitive people (physically and otherwise). I am big on communication and since I never enjoy being rushed out of a doctor's office when I have questions, I do my best to make time for people to communicate whatever it is they need to talk about/ask about etc. Assisting folks to well-being is as much about being treated well as it is about having their challenges properly addressed. Also, I have been an energy worker for 20 years now (can hardly believe it).

I am very interested in meeting other folks in the healing arts and am a big believer in referral. I believe in having a broad pallet but when I don't offer what my patient needs, I feel it is important to be able to refer them to the right professional. The more confidence I have in the referral I give, the more likely the patient is to follow up on it. So, any chances to meet and get to know other professionals would be great (particularly in the Eastlake or surrounding area).

All that said, I am interesting in meeting fellow biznikers who are not in the healings arts, too. The more the merrier.

Since this is supposed to be just an introduction, I won't go on too long (if I haven't already) ... Anyway, nice to "meet" you.
