  • Bookkeeping and Filing Taxes on your own? Is it possible?

    Hi Everyone, I am the owner of a very small business. A one woman show! I am just starting out and I am having to rebuild my clientele in my new space. Very exciting for me! As a beginner business owner, I trying to come up with the best possible and most affordable option for my bookkeeping and tax needs. I have received a couple quotes for tax preparation from accountants in the area. In my industry it can take awhile to have a busy clientele, so I just can't see paying $200+ every quarter. I have also heard how common it is to be audited within the first couple years of a business... Any advice on what is the smartest and less costly route would be amazing!?!
