Startup Junkie

Melody Biringer is an unabashed startup junkie. She's built more than 20 companies as diverse as the boots in her closet. Her entrepreneurial drive began at an early age with growing the business of her family's famous strawberry farm, Biringer Farm. From there she moved on to launch a home furnishings business and several gourmet-food businesses. She's had ventures in the health and fitness industry as well as pioneering experiments with spa and shopping parties. She finally struck a balance with her current entrepreneurial passion: the CRAVE company, which connects women business owners with consumers through networking events, symposia, and a series of smash-hit city guides. Melody has always been a strong advocate for women-owned businesses. When she's not traveling the world launching businesses or mentoring entrepreneurs, she resides in the lovely Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle with her husband, Paul Butterfield. Melody can often be spotted riding her orange Dutch bike to the nearby coffee shop for CRAVE meetings.
