As a licensed Arizona Real Estate Agent and proud member of the Southeast Valley Regional Association of REALTORS, Michelle Shelton has much more than expertise in Real Estate.  Her expertise in critical aspects of business management includes marketing, branding, customer relations and employee development. She is a recruiter and the training coordinator with EPL Realty and teaches skills such as listening, tactful negotiation and client excellence.

 

 

Her listing presentation differs greatly from other agents who take a selling approach. Michelle offers clients options and then gives them freedom to choose what is right for them with no pressure or sales pitches. As a buyer’s agent, she asks the right questions to determine her clients home buying goals and then develops a strategy that will best meet these goals. She commits her time and energy to making her clients goals…her goals.

She believes this removes much of the anxiety and stress related with legal documents, finances, and change. She does not agree with an aggressive approach to negotiation with other agents. She embraces the idea of being clever, confident and assertive in getting things completed. In addition to these personal  traits, being well versed in investment properties as well as residential home sales contributes further to her success as a Real Estate Consultant.

 

 

Her background includes a wide range of experiences in business planning, public relations campaigns, market research and product positioning She has developed special skills and knowledge in customer management including value-added communications, service excellence, and customer referral networking and appreciation programs.  Michelle builds strong vendor relationships gaining competitive advantages in dealing with title companies, lenders, and also with other agents.

 

 

She is a tireless entrepreneur who brings high levels of enthusiasm, energy and creativity to each transaction.  Michelle’s entrepreneurial spirit stems from growing up in a family owned business in Nebraska.  Her father was a successful businessman who single-handedly branded his company name by becoming an innovator in the self-service gasoline industry.  He took a small bait shop and turned it into a Multi-Million dollar chain of Convenience Stores.  Michelle gained a wealth of practical knowledge by working closely with her father on different aspects of the business, working at and eventually managing several of the stores herself. Michelle has always had a competitive spirit  and moved to Arizona to Bass fish professionally. Prior to Real Estate, Michelle founded Our Daily Bread, a bakery equipment business in Omaha and in order to develop greater visibility for her business she taught adult education classes through Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska. She provided marketing and Public Relation services for Weather Wise Roofing, and Getko Group , a division of Cendant.  She has managed the in-store promotions for Sears in 14 Arizona stores. Michelle also held marketing and sales positions for various other companies in the East Valley.  Michelle’s creative imagination gives her an edge in home sales through newsletters, advertising, layouts, and sales flyers.  Michelle has the tireless energy necessary to meet the challenge of  a successful and painless Real Estate transaction. Her negotiation skills stem from an attitude of creating a win/win situation for everyone involved.  She does not view herself as an aggressive salesperson, rather an assertive professional and her goal is to have everyone walk away from the closing table with everything they wanted…at the price they wanted to pay.
