Since 1995 I have had a passion for glass blowing that has enabled me to become a refined and disciplined artist dedicated to fiery colors and passionate sculptures of glass.

A native of Seattle, I was born and raised in the Scandinavian community of Ballard. Living on the shores of Puget Sound the ocean and water in particular have always been important influences in my life. The "Beach Glass" series incorporates found driftwood from the Seattle shores while the Zen series was inspired by many days sitting on those beaches contemplating life.

  When I contacted Mike to ask his thoughts about a cremation urn for my mother's ashes, I very quickly knew that I'd gone to the right person and could not have anyone who would put so much care and thought into creating the perfect piece of art for me.

  My mother loved unique quality art and had a passion for beautiful glass. Mike created an amazing unique urn using my mother's favorite colors that I know she would have loved.
