DREAM DETECTIVE/INTERPRETER: I have been working with dreams (the kind you have at night!) as a tool for self understanding, problem solving and cultivating creative ideas for many years on my own. The method I use is a very practical, direct approach that gets the dreamer in touch with the metaphor that each symbolic dream image or element represents. By stringing together the metaphors of the dream, we are usually presented with a clear picture of what is going on in a persons life at the time, along with solutions to problems and answers to questions. No dream dictionaries are used, as the same symbol (for example a car) could mean something completely different to each and every person you ask. I love this work and am hoping to do more of it.   I dismissed examining my dreams years ago after some work with them, but when Mimi told me she wanted to practice her intepretation skills and the next morning I woke up with a dream I actually remembered, I though "What the heck."

  During our consultation she helped me uncover what the message was that my unconscious was pointing out. "It's not what you do, it's how you do it."

  Now, I knew that at an intellectual level, but I was only applying it in one area of my life. My dream and Mimi's questions helped me see where (and how) else it would be beneficial to use that mantra. I won't detail the changes, but it has made a pretty profound difference in my joy factor on a daily basis.
