Very timely and well written article, Kaya. I'm beginning to develop a blog that I'd like to start soon, and this is my very issue! So thank you for some direction around building focus on my audience. I realize that if I just talk about what I love, it will fall flat. I need to talk about what I love in the context of the solutions others are seeking.

    Thanks so much!

Great article, Connor! Very informative and concise. Well done - you'd never know it was your first article. Looking forward to more.

Thanks for the article, Kristy - another great one!

And I agree that its all about working to connect with individuals though the various social media platforms that exist. There is certainly an art to it - being able to engage your readers and clients as well as attract new ones in a way that avoids the generic. Definitely lots to chew on here! I've been working to ask better questions of the people that show up so that hopefully I'll evoke a response and then the TWO-sided conversation can begin. Lots more fun that way!

Also really good to think about the size of your business - some strategies work best for some types an so on. Its all about finding what's appropriate for your biz!

    Thanks, Kristy-

I enjoyed this article! Over the last few weeks I have been reviewing my articulation of my target market in preparation to tighten up the verbiage on my website - so this article was inspiring and also helpful with some detail that will help me hone.

I have finally gotten to the point in my business where I only want to work with my ideal clients - the work there is SO much more rewarding for them as clients and for me as practitioner. I get it now in a way I didn't over the last few years. So even though I've know about the importance of targeting your tribe, this article is timely since I'm thinking about it with new eyes now.

    Thanks so much for posting!

Your teaching has already made a huge impact on my ability to dive into this new world of blogs and building websites. Thanks so much for all of your efforts! I especially appreciate all of the little details that you share along the way - they do make a difference.

This was a fantastic event. The information was very well organized, and clearly presented. Christine knows the material thoroughly, and was able to manage lots of questions from participant without getting off track.

I was not looking forward to setting up a wordpress website, and am now totally excited to get in there and design a website that I will love. I am confident that I understand the basics enough to get going and sort through the ton of options with a higher level of discernment than just hours ago.

Thanks Christine, for making yourself and your knowledge so available!

    Great article, Kristy.

Thanks for the reminder! How can we ask our clients to go for the gold if we are not willing to do the same? "Dating" unsuitable clients is like using a wrench when a hammer is needed. Life goes so much better when we use the right tool for the job! So easy though to forget this. So thanks for clearly delineating the issue!
