I am a branding and interaction designer with 12 years of professional experience in corporations and with independent clients. I understand how to organize information in a meaningful and user oriented way and specialize in complete branding solutions for small and large businesses. I believe that less is more and apply that philosophy to my work which results in clean and minimalist design. I designed the biznik logo and worked on the interaction and visual design for the biznik website.

I divide my time working on brand strategy, print collateral, brochure style websites and information architecture for large scale social networking and e-commerce websites. In addition to that, I am also an independent fashion designer and am currently working on my first women's clothing line.

I am looking for a silk screening business that can help me print some of my art on: 3x3 wooden panels, tshirts and fabric.

After getting a degree in business from Basel, Switzerland I attended fashion school in Vienna, Austria where I learned how to develop fashion design concepts, pattern making and sewing. After fashion school I moved to San Francisco, where I got my BFA in Graphic Design. As part of my extended education during my corporate years at Microsoft I attended conferences and classes in brand strategy, interaction design, project management, and people management.

I have worked at Microsoft as an Art Director and Visual Design Lead for 8 years and designed Money 99, Money 2000, Office XP, Office 2003, and Communicator 2005. In early 2006 I left Microsoft to start my own design firm Gimbo Design, LLC. I love having my own company, it's been a fantastic experience so far - big thanks to biznik through whom I got numerous clients!
