After owning a day spa for many years, the opportunity to study interior design (something I've loved for as long as my earliest memories) was given to me. I received my training at the Sheffield School of Interior Design in New York. I guess you could say I moved from "dressing" faces to "dressing" spaces. Interestingly enough, the two are really not that dissimilar. Both have the power to affect us at our core. They tell our story to the world about who we are. As a designer, part of my challenge, indeed my responsibility, to my clients is to make sure all of the parts are congruent. To quote William Shakespere: "We are usually happiest at home." [less]
