I would SO MUCH love to attend this event, and I love the location. My new schedule puts me "out of commission" weekday afternoons. Have fun with this. My best to you and all who attend!

Adam, I regret that I am unable to attend this event. I would greatly appreciate any main points you are inclined to share. What may I offer you in exchange?
Enjoy a successful event!
Nina
Janice, Sandra and Beth, thank you all for your lovely comments -- it feels good to be acknowledged and appreciated by those whom I consider experts in their field. Please share the value tidbits from the article with your friends and colleagues who complain about their to-do lists!
Michele, thank you for your comment. I'm so glad the process works for you!
Thank you Bob and HsuanHua for deep introspection and stimulating discussion. As a coach, I admire in each of you your skill at staying in the "worry" to get to the "aha."
Be well!
Love the word play in your title, Beth. Getting clear with your fear has a great ring to it. And I agree with Jamie -- FUD sounds so ridiculous as to make it seem inconsequential. Wouldn't we do well to treat our fears, uncertainties and doubts with the lightness inherent in the acronym!
Thanks for good stuff!
Good insights, Beth, and gracefully articulated. I find this article particularly meaningful because YOU are showing up in the very ways your article suggests. You are walking your talk, and nothing shows up bigger than that.
Thanks for great perspective.

Pamela, I love the idea of Improv, Imagination, and writing. From my experience in your prior class, I know this will be fun and productive. You're on my calendar!
Nina
Terrific presentation, Ed. Powerful tools here to brush up our outgoing messages by clarifying our own intentions and desires.
Pamela, I love the Fripp quote. And from hearing and watching Obama through various interviews, I feel the strength and authenticity of his expression. My guess is that he made the writing job easy for his speechwriters!
Leif, I want to attend, but I fear the exit timing to cross the lake for another evening commitment won't allow it. Any chance you'll present this on the east side at some point?
Thanks!
Nina
Mike, your workshop was informative and thought provoking. Your big 5 points for creating headlines that sell will be useful in my future marketing endeavors, and I loved your list of headline starters. Kudos!
Nina
Patricia, this is an awesome idea! My day is booked tomorrow so I won't participate, but I'm interested to see the comments from participants. Have fun with this, y'all!
Nina
Looking forward to this Mike -- I can use it!
Nina
Thank you each for your suggestions. I was aware of both The Village and Thinkspace. I've been to both and both are excellent spaces. The Village location is better, and I assumed it would be too costly for what we are wanting to accomplish, but I will definitely check it out.
Thanks!
This sounds like fun, Ruth. Any chance you'll offer this during regular biz hourse at some point?
Nina
Piper, I, too am looking for just this thing. Time and place don't work for me. I hope you'll do something during business hours, and closer to the eastside would be a bonus!
Have fun and much success with this!
Nina
I've posted 2 event notices on craigslist, but have postponed the actual press release, waiting for a formal testimonial to include as part of the release. Guess I'll be following up on that this week, then will post to 2 online spaces and ship it to the Reporters.
Thanks for the reminder!
Penny, that would be a great topic for Espresso Coaching -- perhaps we'll discuss it and get back to you! :)
Nina
Thank you Leta. We will miss the gift of your presence.
Thank you, Hsuan-Hua. I would love for you to join us -- I would value your input and feedback!
Nina
Carole, thanks for the Craigslist cue. I always forget about that as a possibility!
Nina
This event was content rich, made me stretch a bit, and was productive. Here's what I commit to as a result: 1. Create a press release re Espresso Coaching.
3.Submit it for publication in the Reporter papers.
Thank you Carole, and thank you to all who were there -- you each contributed great stuff!
Nina
Carole I would love to attend this event, but I am committed in Bellevue until 1:00 p.m. Would it be a terrible upset to the process if I arrive 15 minutes late?
Thanks!
Mike, I know your question is directed at Pamela, but I can't help but respond. I believe her succinct expression of statement #1 embodies what she means by "bottom lining" it. To "bottom line" is to cut to the chase, or as she so eloquently puts it in her 5 step process for authentic communication (wonderful workshop!): "Know when to stop."
Pamela, correct me if I haven't got the gist of your statement.
:)
In spite of last-minute cancellations, this event was powerful, insightful, and vividly "hands" on. I learned a lot about myself from the exercises, and I came away with a technique that allows a broader perspective through communication. Thank you Pamela!
