HEALING FREES UP ENERGY TO LIVE LIFE MORE FULLY. I help people "de-stress" and make the connection between good physical health and good mental health, including alternatives to pharmaceutical interventions for S.A.D. and other types of depression. I am a counselor who thinks outside of the box for people who live and work outside of the box. I embrace diversity and creativity.

I help people break the spell of Trauma (bad stuff that happens) and move on with their lives. I provide Clients with a ToolKit for Healing from abusive relationships in the Verbal Abuse Workbook and Circle of Healing groups.

Counseling is about building a relationship in which Healing can happen. It is more than baring your soul for an hour a week, only to be abandoned for the rest of the week. I also believe in affordable counseling for everyone. Therefore I provide the following services as a regular part of my practice:

My areas of professional specialization are Trauma (including Verbally Abusive Relationships), Stress Management and Nurturing Creativity. My clients come to me with problems with anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, and low self-esteem. Clients improve in confidence, self-esteem, mood, setting boundaries, and move on in their lives (improve or "new and improved" relationship, improve or "new and improved" employment, pursue educational goals).
