To all those in the wedding biz
My husband, Kent, and I are nondenominational ministers in the Green Lake area of Seattle. We enjoy meeting brides and grooms-to-be and introducing them to what is possible in the world of wedding ceremonies. There are so many possibilities today.
Since I'm a writer, it affords even more options. We listen to each couple's needs, offer gazillion ideas, share the experience we gained from 13 years of officiating, help plan out and then direct their rehearsal and finally, officiate for them.
Of course, then there are vow renewals and baby naming ceremonies, as well as premarital preparation for those who are so inclined. It is a delight and I hope we will be part of this significant moment for thousands more couples.
