What Patricia does

I help people become their very best selves and develop the potential of people they care about.

In my work with parents and educators, I concentrate on developing clients' skills and perspectives about child-rearing so they can be more effective and get more satisfying results. Too often we adults try to "fix" the kids, when, in fact, we can accomplish more by adjusting ourselves.

In my work with adults on their own development, I use writing and speaking as the portal to personal growth and success. My writing and speaking clients wind up defining more clearly who they are and what they want to accomplish - and then become that vision.

You're never too old, and it's never too early, to take steps towards living the life you want. Whether that's becoming the parent your children need or becoming the person you need to be, I can help.

What Patricia does best

I help people become their best selves and realize their best dreams. For parents, this is becoming the best parent and knowing how to guide kids. For others, this is becoming a published author of a best-selling book.

I can immediately see sources of difficulties and also sources of strength. I can tell you not only what's gone wrong but what's gone right. People find me easy to work with and solution oriented.

Whatever your dreams and whatever your challenges, I'm here to help.

What does Patricia need?

Right now, I'm looking most for YOU, if you want to write a book or have a book that hasn't yet been published or have a published book that isn't making any money. I work with authors of books for the general trade, with people who want to convert a thesis or dissertation into a NYTimes best-seller, and with folks who want to write or illustrate a book for children. Education

I am an Educational Psychologist with a doctoral degree specializing in human development and learning and a master's degree in education. I've lived through the ups and downs of family life and know the rewards and the challenges.

Experience

I'm a professor of early childhood education and a writer and speaker on child development issues. I have over thirty years experience in serving children and adults. I've raised two fine sons and greatly enjoy a couple grandkids.

And.... I've spent 15 years reading and editing others' work and writing my own. I can help you get your book done and published and into the hands of your readers.

That book that's in some old notebook someplace or a computer file from 2002: you know you're never going to get around to getting it done without some help. And once you get it written, how will you get it published? The do-it-yourself mentality you've built around this project isn't working. You need some assistance. You need me.

Whatever is your "baby" - your book or your child, give me a call. Let's talk!
