  • So glad there's one here in Seattle. You turned my frown upside down when I saw this posted.

See you there...looking forward to it!

  • I so love what you wrote and loved that you didn't feel the need to be more PI here. I agree 100% with everything you said. Very well put.

When I tell members that I prefer to have a relationship with them before they become part of my network, I got strange responses and funny looks :)

When I refer my patients/clients to others, I need to know how they will be taken care of. That is crucial for me.

Collecting cards at the rate of speed of light and then asking to be in my network is silly. "who are you"?

Hope we get a chance to meet one day....you rock!!!!

  • Hello Michael

Perhaps we were destined to finally meet only by way of a different venue.

May I bring an interested non-member with me?

    Thank you

  • Hello Lynn

Are these events generally in Lynwood or closer in the Seattle area. Would love to join you if it were closer.

    Thanks

  • Good points! My teacher told me a long time ago that with no expectations you will never be disappointed and another is Breathe more Complain Less......I hold both of those close to my heart and head everyday.

  • Taylor, this is one of the best articles and advice I've read. Since I never knew anything about the art of marketing and only learned about it in Biznik (still learning) I feel that you've captured the essence of what it really means.

I have made lasting friendships that I cherish and some of them have turned into clients as well. Relationship and listening to needs is crucial.

  • It is a perplexing problem but one that can be tackled. You make a great point about the desperation factor and people can smell that a mile away.

What I do is envision myself busy and I get grounded into my power before I try to drum up more business. In that way I can (hopefully) come across as already manifesting abundance and this is what they will hear in my voice.

    Hope this is helpful

  • What an exciting presentation from both Lara and Karrie. Lara, you are so dynamic I was already dreaming of my hive furnishings and how nurtured I'd feel with other hive members around me.

Unfortunately I cannot committ at this particular time but I will be eager and excited to know how they're going for all involved.

I am grateful for all the wonderful things Biznik has offered me.

    Valuable teachings....looking forward to it

  • I am so sorry for all of you who didn't make it. Regina and I picked a date that worked best, since she's with clients on the weekend and I didn't know anything about the game.

I found parking three short blocks away and was there at 11:45 looking for Biznikians but only Laura Dodson showed.

I just wish folks would have called in so we didn't have to take up a large table at the restaurant that has many people waiting to be seated.

Sorry for any trouble those of you might have had in getting to this event. Thank you Laura for your company today.

  • I don't know about that but if you cannot find street parking you can always park in the lot on King under the highway 2 blocks away.

    See you there!

  • Sorry too but we'll do it again and hopefully you can join in at that time!

Have a great rest of the weekend!

  • Thankfully you do what you do and because of it others are inspired on many levels we and/or they are not aware of.

You are a delightful presence and I am grateful to have you in a small part of my life. You have beautifully stated my feelings about Biznik and all the opportunities it brings to my life.

I have made friendships and business contacts that I value and cherish. Love this article.
