  • Zita, this is who you are in life, who you are in business and one of the reasons that you are so successful! Once again you have given us a timely and valuable reminder and an example to follow. Holidays are the times we reconnect with family and friends that we may not have stayed in touch with. While it is not the best way to treat the people in those important relationships, it is the kiss of death in business. If you don't have a network of people you can rely on for yourself and your clients, neither you or your business will be successful. I mentor a number of new agents in our office and I am going to share this information with them.

  • Hello Zita, A well written article that points out why people networking has a bad reputation with people that don't know how or why real "connectors" value it so much. I mentor a number or new real estate agents and one of the questions I get most often is "How do I get business when I haven't been doing this very long." This article will be a great way for them to understand the value of talking to the people that they know and asking for introductions to new people, not just people that need to buy or sell a home today or tomorrow. Meeting people and building genuine relationships is the only way to have long term success in any business, but it is especially important in real estate.

Thanks for making effective networking so easy to understand.

    Patricia

  • Hello Zita,

Thank you for the great way to look at Social Networking. I am one of those people that do more face-to-face connections, because that is what I have done for so long. I am gradually developing a new routine to do more networking on line and you have given me great ideas and tools to make it easier to develop a new habit. You are a great networking talent and a great teacher. Thanks

  • Once again Zita, you have hit the mark. Business networking is a more important aspect of every professionals business plan. How to network with a win-win focus instead of "let me tell you about what I want to sell you" will bring in more and better business in the long run. Not everyone you meet will need your product or service, but he or she might know someone who does. If your message is memorable in a positive way, it will be relayed. Thanks also for the great reminder of be benefits of planning and strategy. You can have the best message and best product and service, but if you can't get it to the right people, it won't work.
