Summer Party --

Hi Group,

Thought we could add ideas here for our summer party.

I was thinking if we had a noon bbq with an evening sail with some wine music. and wind OR a full day sail to Paulsbo and back going thru Agate Pass on the water to Liberty Bay.. then spending lunch and shopping or sight seeing in Paulsbo 9:00 AM 12:00 Travel 12:00 to 2:00 Playtime in Paulsbo 2:00 to 5:00 Return

We have a full kitchen on the boat with bathrooms.

Turning Networking Into Paying Customers

I have a vision for this group. It's not just for networking but a chance for us to share contacts. Since we are all dealing with home owners and the services they need... can we share? To accomplish this I am fully aware we need to build trust for one another. My hope is when that occurs we do share real names and services with the home owners we are working with.

You might ask why a marketing consultant is facilitating this group. It's because I believe in results. Networking without eventually producing actual paying customers is just a social exercise. Like most network groups that get close I foresee us doing business with each other but the real value is in the referrals. What do you think?

BNI Groups Using Biznik as a way to communicate?

I belong to the Eastside Referral Network in Kirkland. It one of the BNI Chapters (www.bninw.com). What is your thoughts on setting up a group in Biznik for that chapter and of course every member would have to join Biznik. I don't feel BNI is in competition with Biznik as it's a conventional weekly network group that allows only one business category in per chapter. It is a referral group though with a commitment of referring business to ones in that group.

I would love to promote membership to our group and share successes. I feel this would help both areas of our networking efforts.

Window Films for Decorative Purposes

I would like to start a discussion on the use of window films for flat glass in residential settings. When or if you would recommend these in up scale homes as a decorating tool.

Window ilms main use is for tinting windows for protection against damaging UV rays to carpets, drapes or furniture in a exposed room. Save on air-condition costs also. Some use it for security and window strength.
