"I'm the kind of person who's "organized" my home office at least 5 or 6 times since I moved into my current home 4 years ago, and somehow within 2 months of the getting the place in order it slips back into a disaster zone of unfinished projects, piles of papers to be sorted, and a staging ground for objects out of place. I'm afraid I can't put my finger on any one thing that made a difference - I believe it was a cumulative effect of all the things Piper recommended - but the result is that 8 months later, this office is still a clear, efficient, and pleasant place to work and I spend most every day in here.
