The bulk of my professional career as been in an entrepreneur role, managing a start up or serving as coach to an entrepreneur. It those various roles I have worked IT, construction, fitness and healthcare. In my volunteer career, I've served on non-profit boards and learned the ins and outs of leadership in a mission based organization. I started my academic career in sociology and decided to pursue a masters in behavioral science in 1995. As a result of my service experience in the worlds of profit-driven and mission-driven organizations I am comfortable helping leaders with processes and structures to support board governance, business administration or business management. As a consultant and educator I have been able to help my clients with change management strategy, cross functional teams, communications, systems for continuous improvement and platforms for learning in collaboration, maximizing group creativity and adopting systems thinking.
