  • Rachel Reed – FOR SALE BY OWNER Real Estate Program

I’m a little slow to introduce “my bad indie self” (been a member since 7/2007 and now it’s 10/2007).

My business partner and I just launched a new For Sale By Owner (FSBO) service for the state of Washington (with plans of expanding to other states). I’m so excited about this new venture. The current slumped real estate market should provide the perfect conditions for this business to take off and soar. We can save sellers thousands of dollars in expensive agent commissions; potentially enough to offset lower home values and slowing appreciation rates. I am a huge advocate for retaining as much money or equity as possible and want to share my real estate expertise with those who feel the same!

Check out my profile for a short list of the services we provide to sellers.

The business is fully operational now, as of October 1, 2007, but my goal is to have this business completely off the ground by January, 2008. This means that we need at least 10 clients per month to pay all business and personal living expenses. To meet this goal, we are recruiting referral partners for our Networking Advertising Program, networking like crazy on Biznik (and maybe soon LinkedIn), and posting flyers on community boards. If you can think of other ways we can reach this goal (with little advertising funds), I’m all ears!!!

Since I have been a Biznik member for a few months now, I have to tell you how awesome Biznik is as a remarkable networking service! I’ve met so many cool people who are committed to living their best lives through providing superior products or services and inspiring others to do the same. I highly recommend paying for a Biznik membership, not only for the added benefits, but for supporting the Biznik team to continue doing what they do best: constantly finding ways to improve the site and quality of the networking experience.

  • $100 to Bizniks who bring us paying clients!

My business partner and I have just started a brand new FSBO (Real Estate - For Sale By Owner) company complete with a top-notch service package. We know we’re a bit loco for starting this business this time of year (real estate sales/activity drops considerably through the holiday season), but we’re so excited about offering this service that we can’t wait until January to launch!

We need your help! With a limited budget for advertising (at the moment), we need your word of mouth assistance to help us get off the ground. Our lofty goal of having 10 clients per month by January can only be achieved with your support (and maybe a few miracles along the way). To show our appreciation, from now until the end of 2007, we are giving $100 to any Biznik member who introduces us to a paying client!

Check out my profile and website for more information about our cool new company and extraordinary custom service.

Thank you in advance for being part of this amazing community and extending your support!
