What Rachel does

My clients are people who struggle with body image and/or self-esteem issues. They have some sense that they are capable of more in their lives, but they feel stranded in old jobs, challenging relationships and broken ways of doing things.

What all my clients want is a deeper connection to what's meaningful about life. They want to feel free from old hurts and able to pursue their true loves. They want to be the person they always dreamt of being.

If this is what you want, you should talk to me. The kind of healing you're seeking is what I love creating for people.

As we work together, you'll be able to:

  • relieve some suffering in minutes with EFT (an emotional & pain-free version of acupuncture),

  • remove stuck emotions and body pain through energy healing,

  • discover hidden gifts inside yourself with the Enneagram,

  • reconnect with love and Spirit through custom sacred ritual, and

  • rescue your young parts (think inner children) through guided visualization so you'll have lasting results.

If you really want to feel better about being you, I can help with that.

I facilitate comparitively fast results. Even the first step makes a difference. You will see progress from the very first session.

You may want to know more before getting in touch with me personally, and luckily, there's lot of ways to do that:

  1. Check out my blog posts about different emotional and spiritual struggles and tips for working with them at www.fogtofire.com.
  2. Follow me on Twitter to get my Thought of the Day (TOTD), which is guaranteed to inspire hope, or possibly "bake your noodle," according to Valerie Farris.
  3. Listen to my internet radio shows on Emotion in Small Business.
  4. Email (rachel@fogtofire.com) to request a free phone consultation. I can tell you in 20 minutes what our work together would be like.

If you like what you see and want to know more about working with me individually, you can read more about my packages and hourly rates.

What Rachel does best

I've been a poet, a temp, a desk jockey, and, many times over, a student. But what pushed me into finally pursuing my passion was the 4 years of being an admin assistant at a small IT shop. Imagine a "people person" stuck in a cubicle inside an office with no one around, and all her coworkers communicating by email, even though they were just across the hall. Yikes!!!

When I got honest with myself about who I wanted to be professionally, the thing that stood out for me is how I can feel other people's suffering. And I see how they don't have to.

I love this work. I love it because it's not about theory or a prescribed way of being in the world, but because it's about each of us finding our own most self-loving way.

I love connecting with people in this moment, seeing what's up for them right now and getting to feel with them how that is. And I love even more the "Ah-HA!" moments when people get what I can see: that their wholeness, their peaceful and compassionate True Self is accessible to them right now.

I love that I can create this transformational moment for people to have that felt experience. It's like building a muscle-memory; if you can feel what it's like to do this now, you'll be able to replicate it more easily in another moment on your own.

My background includes a Masters Degree in Poetry from the University of Florida and a Masters Degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences (meaning I'm trained as a psychotherapist) from the Leadership Institute of Seattle through Bastyr University. I also am continually training in energy psychology techniques, such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and alternative energy healing, and I am receiving supervision in Internal Family Systems.
