Clients Have Told Me To Raise My Rates

Posted Mar 17, 2009.

Clients have told me recently that they believe I should charge more for what they're getting out of my services...and I'm listening.

Starting May 1st, my rates are going up to $100 per hour.

I'm publicizing this on Biznik because I know some of you have thought about coming to see me, but haven't yet. And I want you to get the best deal possible.

The ethics of my industry prevent me from offering "discounts" or other special prices for my therapy services, but this is almost like a sale.

If you've been thinking about calling me, please take advantage of my low prices before May 1st. And remember, I offer anyone in Biznik a FREE 20-minute consultation phone call so we can both figure out if we're a good fit to work together.

Wow, that is an incredible rate...I mean the one you are offering in May. For what you offer and who you are at any rate it is a "deal".

    Hey Laura, thanks.

I certainly agree that a life-changing experience is a bargain at these prices!

    Thanks for the testimonial. :)

Rachel, I acknowledge the value of your work and it is a challenge to put a price on transformation. When we change everything changes including our financial abundance! Congratulations on allowing more abundance into all of our lives by responding to the messages you received! That's how it works, right!?

    Hi Rachel,

I appreciate your statement about your pricing. Good to see that in these times where many of us are considering to lower their fees to be able to compete you are standing up and waving with your arm... :)

I think to do good work and to be able to give the best to the client we have to feel strong and have to have pride in what we are doing. If we make ourselves small by charging less than we feel our work is contributing to the other persons life and business, the quality of your work will suffer.

In the end it probably comes down to really be clear about the uniqueness of what we have to offer and how it will "enrich" the client.

    Thanks again for speaking out.

    Ingrid

Thanks so much, Karen and Ingrid, for commenting here to support me!

I had no idea my little promo would attract any comments, but I'm so pleased it did.

If I can stand up and say that my work is worth more than what I've been charging, and it inspires anyone else to do the same and fill their business with confidence, then I'll be paying it forward.

I'm following the example of a couple different bizpeople I know, one of whom is Bizniker Molly Gordon. I offer my thanks to you. :)

Ok, I've been out of town. I'm raising my rates today, BUT here's a last-chance opportunity. Anybody who contacts me today to talk about scheduling a session will get in on the pre-existing client rate.

Spirit: I set my intention to reach more clients with this rate, knowing that they'll see it as an indication of my professionalism and the value of my services to them. The people who respond to this new rate are deeply committed to their own healing and crave a thorough, insightful, intuitive healer like me to accompany them on their journey. And so it is.
