I'm the founder and managing principal at Municipal Consulting Group, LLC in Washington, DC. After realizing the need for a structured approach to dealing with the convoluted nature of the permitting process, I founded Municipal Consulting Group in 1999 with no previous experience in permit expediting or the municipal regulatory process as it relates to building construction and land use.

Within 10 years have managed to develop a working relationship with a host of property owners, architectural firms, construction management companies and contractors in the D.C. Metro area, assisting these firms with navigating the complexities of the permitting and building regulatory process and its bureaucracies in the district, and have secured more than (2000) permits within that time for projects ranging from small residential additions, public use, occupancy, commercial interior build-out and major development projects valued over $200,000,00.00 million dollars.

With five fulltime employees and a strategic alliance with several industry professionals from various backgrounds, ranging from former city officials, construction professionals, designers, land use consultants, urban planning and inspection.
