Experience

I started representing Opt In Mobile Marketing this spring here in the Pacific Northwest, with a special focus on Seattle and the Puget Sound area.

Here's what got me going: A few months ago I received a call from Rich, a past business associate. He started providing mobile marketing solutions to businesses in his local area, the nor'eastern state of Maine, last fall. Businesses such as bowling alleys, fun parks, pizza places, and a variety of other types of restaurants.

I thought, "With texting being a popular way to communicate, I like that customers can ask for professional tips, coupons, event announcements, weekly specials, incentives on demand or by subscription to to be sent to their cell phones. Opt In Mobile Marketing is affordable, effective, and easy for businesses to use. Good idea. I like it."

I have also worked insurance/financial industry for six-plus years. As a wholesale marketing rep, I recommended fixed-annuity products to independent insurance agents. An independent insurance agent has so many client needs to meet, I found it satisfying to be a product recommendation resource for agents to work with. I was able to develop business relationships based on my clients trusting me. They would call me with a client scenario such as, "I have an 72-year-old gentleman with $100,000; what should I do?" From there I would ask questions to discern the scenario and how to best recommend a product to my client, the agent, so he could go to his client with conficence to meet his client's needs. It was rewarding to know my clients had confidence in and appreciated not only my product knowledge but my attentiveness to both their and their clients' needs.

Over the six years of being a wholesale marketing rep in the insurance industry, I met and exceeded several personal and company goals; one being that I was a member of my company's Millionaire (Sales) Club.

I enjoy consulting with business owners in order to benefit themselves and their clients. In the financial world, I worked with financial planners and independent insurance agents. They consulted with me in order to recommend the best financial products for their clients' financial well-being. In the mobile messaging world, I have worked with everyone from restaurant owners to skateboard manufacturers to, once again, independent insurance agents.

My goal: Help business owners bring customers back more often but not break the bank themselves in so doing.
