  • Massage people..I have a question for you....

I have arthritis...especially bad in my neck (was officially diagnosed and went through physical therapy)....

Even though I have had physcial therapy to learn stretching techniques and specific weight training to strenthen neck/shoulder muscles I still suffer with a stiff neck resulting in very bad headaches (almost on a daily basis)...

I was wondering if getting regular massage therapy on my neck/shoulders would have any benefit??????

If so then I am looking for someone in the Lynnwood, S. Everett, Shoreline area.

  • Can I ask for html guidance?

I recently had phplist installed for our newsletter and I see where I can create my own template.

I would love to have it match in some way, shape or form our website but I have NO html knowledge!

I will be on the search today for more information on how to do this but can anyone point me in the direction of an easy way to do this?

Note: I have Microsoft Publisher but just have not had time to play with it yet. Does anyone know..can I create a page/template in Publisher and save it as html? Rebecca

  • Marketing/advertising question

Because this is a public forum Im going to be very generic in my question but am hoping some of you can give me some feedback!

Basic Question: How does one know if a venue will work for them or not???

I was recently sent via snail mail a business opportunity. In looking at the brochures (and I will verify via email) it looks like it targets one of our niche markets.

Basic Information: This venue targets a specific industry and people who use this industries services.

National, local tv exposure in key cities reaching upwards of 20 million homes.

    Webtv reaches 100,000 viewers

Product will be promoted in the directory printed especially for passport members.

    Magazine listing 50,000 readers

Cost to me: approx. $300.00 per month

Im going to email them for more specifics over the weekend but how does one know if an advertising/marketing opportunity will work other than making sure it targets your niche market???

Is there a professional that can analyze our company and the offered advertising to see if its a good fit? Is an accountant good for this?

  • Looking for basic credit terms contract/example

A non local company that has purchased wholesale products in the past has always paid via credit card. They have had rave reviews over this product and now it seems like it they will be ordering this item on a regular basis.

They are requesting terms of net 30 which I dont have a problem with. Im going to make it a condition that they will have to agree the credit card on file will be charged if payment is not forthcoming by the 30th.

I have found credit application templates (examples) that I will modify and have them fill out as a matter of business.

I am unable to find even a generic Credit Terms and Conditions template/example to look at and modify to fit my needs.

Anyone have one they would like to share? or know of a website that offers a free credit terms example?

I know the actual terms will vary depending on the business but it would be so nice to have one to look at!

  • Can I ask for help here/Looking for fiber/cardboard drums

We are in the process of putting together a non-profit fundraiser of sorts for homeless children (more info will follow once we have everything in place). The gist of it is we need a collection device of some sorts where we can leave at participating businesses so customers can drop of the requested items.

My original thought was something like a fiber/cardboard drum like this: http://www.uline.com/BrowseListing8151.asp?pricode=wf690 which our organization would appropriately decorated in the related theme.

We hope to have a good amount of local businesses participating and we just cannot afford to pay the asking price for this type of drum for the amount we hope to need.

Does anyone know where to get this type of drum locally? Im wondering if so, then it would be so nice to have them donated (we would of course give ample publicity for this) or if not does anyone have any other suggestion???

Many Thanks. Rebecca Country Meadow www.countrymeadowsoaps.com Seattle Craft Mafia www.seattlecraftmafia.com

  • Does anyone have a working typewriter they dont want anymore?

I ordered Vistaprint postcards and am really happy with them. I need to put the send to addresses on the back of the post cards and I admit I have awful handwriting! I have an injet printer but the post cards are too thick and wont pickup and go through. I have an LED printer but because the post cards are singles (vs 2 to a sheet) they dont pick up and print very well.

So as a last resort (other to taking a penmanship class - gasp!) is to use a typewriter. I dont really want to purchase one, since I think to most people they are obsolete with computers, so I thought I would first ask if anyone has a good working one they dont want/need anymore.

I am willing to pick up (during the weekend) locally (Everett/Lynnwood/North Seattle) if you have one! Many Thanks! Rebecca
