  I met Elke for my first Aura Portrait 12 years ago. I was raised by highly educated parents, each with multiple graduate degrees in the sciences and education who created an open minded environment where conversations about quantum physics, the 'manifestation theory', reincarnation and 'spirit guides' were the norm. I am sensitive to energy myself so as a child, my dad would take me to visit psychics and seers whenever I asked. My first encounter with Elke at age 24 was the most positive and inspiring reading I had yet received. I found it articulate, insightful, helpful and fun!

  In the years that have followed my first portrait, I have referred no less than two dozen friends and family members to her for the same service, including my parents, my closest friends and advisors and my husband. Each time I speak of her I find myself emphasizing her intelligence, insightfulness, experience and depth of knowledge. When combined with her strong wit and capacity for nurturing, listening to her speak is an experience many will never forget.

  Since my first portrait, I have received 3 others, attended many of Elke's talks on various subjects and participated in a number of her day-long workshops on energy awareness and healing. About 4 years ago, I spent 18 months studying shamanic journeying techniques with her, and invited her to speak at a seminar I was apart of on world religions. Yet the creme of my involvement with Elke, was my wedding. My skeptical husband-to-be was so moved by the experience of getting one of his own aura portraits from Elke, that it was he who suggested we ask her to officiate over our wedding, implementing her skills as a modern shaman in a ceremony that defied tradition and united us in areas we feel strongly about.   [less]

  My girlfriend (at the time) Lara gifted me with an aura portrait from Elke a couple of years ago. I was totally skeptical, but it wasn't costing me anything, so why not. I was unprepared for the experience: it was like Elke spent an hour and a half introducing me to myself. To a self that I recognized, but had never really met before. Afterward I felt a tremendous quiet confidence that is still with me. A year later, she performed our wedding ceremony. She is a powerful, deeply spiritual woman, a master shaman.
