What Rhonda does
I am a commercial photographer with over 25 years of fine art and studio experience who believes that natural light is still all the rage.
I photograph weddings using creative vision and a critical eye for detail. I love to find spontaneous and emotional moments of each and every event I photograph. I want you to have fun! I like to combine traditional images with those that truly tell the story of your special day.
In my portraits I endeavor to capture the true essence of the individual. Children are my specialty, photographed in their own environment as they truly are. No forced poses or forced smiles here. Please don't say cheese!
I have a BFA in photography with a strong background in art and graphic design. I use these skills to create unique and memorable images. I am confident and well-trained in my craft. I am able to adapt to all situations and work well with a variety of people.
What Rhonda does best
Listen first. I think that this is key in determining what the client is looking for. So many of us are trained to talk, but I try to tailor my work to what my client's needs are and I have to listen first. I am intuitive and can direct, lead, and organize a group to accomplish a task if the need arises. I have an artist's vision and the tenacity to see it through.
What does Rhonda need?
I am interested in partnering with wedding and event planners and facilities that host weddings for the 2010 wedding season.
Education
I have a BFA in Photography and a certificate in graphic design.
Experience
I owned my own studio and was heavily involved in the Portland, OR art scene. I have recently relocated to Seattle area after a 14 year absence and I am actively transferring that energy and involvement to the environs of the Emerald City. My business experience includes marketing, fiscal management, and the commitment to build a strong repeat clientle. I served as Board President of a non-profit art organization for two years. Effectively engaging with the Chamber of Commerce, city government, and up to 60 fine artists. I think one of the most important tools we have as business owners is networking and referrals.
