What Rick does
After working as an R&D Chemical Engineer for "da man", I left my cushy corporate job at Hewlett-Packard & founded Lone Eagle Digital Imaging, LLC . Lone Eagle helps people and companies communicate in a big, colorful way. I do this by producing a huge array of large-format digital prints including backlit displays, vehicle wraps, 1-way & 2-way window graphics, non-slip floor graphics, museum exhibits, POP graphics, photo & fine art reproductions, custom contour-cut decals, etc... the list is long. Please visit LoneEagleDigital.com - it may spark an idea for the large-format graphics you need to promote your business or event.
"If you've got something to say, do it in a big, colorful way."
What Rick does best
I can throw a frisbee 156 meters (that's 512 feet!)
I can catch 2 fish at the same time (must be global warming)
I'm really good at "Cash Cab". Call me if you need a mobile shout out
I can produce fabulous digital prints that will get your message, business, product, event, photography, and/or artwork noticed
What does Rick need?
partnerships with ad agencies that want to deliver big, beautiful graphics to their clients.
referrals from graphic designers & print shops that don't do large-format printing & don't know who to turn to when their customers ask for a banner, poster, photo restoration, fine art reproduction, etc.
More work from architects, construction firms, trial lawyers, photographers, artists, and others who could make themselves and their work stand out using big, colorful graphics.
more time
more sleep
more space in my shop
more exercise (don't ask)
a new car (who doesn't?)
Education
BS Chemical Engineering. State University of New York at Buffalo, 1985.
MBA Marketing & Management. St. Bonaventure University, 1987.
MS Material Science. Rutgers University, 1991.
Experience
I've been producing stunning photo & fine art reproductions using the giclee process for photographers, digital artists, and conventional artists since 2002 and for my own photography before that. (please don't call Lone Eagle a "print shop"). In 2005, I upgraded Lone Eagle's equipment set to be able to also produce vinyl & fabric banners, window graphics, vehicle wraps, non-slip floor graphics, contour-cut decals, and many other types of graphics used for marketing, advertising, POP, etc. (OK... this all sounds like "print-shop-like" stuff but I still prefer "digital imaging service bureau").
Prior to this, I worked as an R&D Chemical Engineer for HP in San Diego. In my nine years there, I developed pigments, dispersions, dyes, and inkjet vehicles for HP's inkjet printers and earned five patents in the areas of inkjet printing technology and inkjet chemistry.
