I run a small marketing communications firm, Rickey Gold & Associates. We help clients build their businesses by identifying new markets. Then we design marketing material to reach those markets with solution-based messages.

For some clients, we serve as their outsourced marketing department. For others, we do individual projects on an as-needed basis.

I also offer consulting services.

Help clients position (or re-position) their businesses. I like to find that one special trait, skill, service or product that makes a company stand out, then translate that into a benefit or solution.

I'm a KISS advocate. So I like to create marketing messages that are punchy, concise and memorable -- then use them consistently to build brand awareness.

I'm always looking for new talent: primarily graphic designers, web developers, technical copywriters. But I also like making new business contacts for potential collaborative work.

I founded my business in July, 1992. Prior to that, I spent four years as media director at a small agency in Skokie, IL. Along with one assistant (who I trained), we grew media billings fourfold (in four years).
